The Nebraska Schools Activities Association has changed requirements for Pre-Participation Physical Examinations for the 20-21 academic year. Due to the overwhelming demand on the healthcare system in Nebraska, it was clear to the NSAA Sports Advisory Committee that the system as a whole would not have the capacity to meet original requirements in place by the NSAA for all athletes to have physicals administered in the normal time allotment. As a result, all physicals for students entering grades 8, 10, 11 & 12 that were accepted during the 19-20 academic year, will remain valid for the 20-21 academic year. This is a one year exemption only and those students who are entering 7th and 9th grades will still be required to get a physical prior to their first athletic practice. Those physicals must be administered no earlier than May 1, 2020! If you have any questions regarding this matter feel free to contact the high school office at 308-358-0640, or by emailing email@example.com
