Want an awesome experience? Our students have the opportunity to listen to Stacey Kreycik Miller, from the Kreycik Elk & Buffalo Ranch, read her new book about Suzie! "Suzie Saves the Day" is a lovable tale of an elk's heroic moment to save her beloved kin. Students will have the opportunity to purchase a signed book for $13 if interested! This will take place this Friday, March 22nd at 1pm. #BeACharger ⚡⚡

Good evening! We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at our normal start time of 8 am! Reminder, Steve VanDeWalle's bus route (Belgrade area) will have pickup in Belgrade by the bus barn only at 715am. We will not be driving country roads with the bus. Drop off will be the same as well at the bus barn around 4pm. All other routes are the same. For those that travel the country roads, allow extra time to drive. Good evening Riverside families. Due to the conditions of country roads we will NOT be able to offer Steve Vandewalle‘s bus service until further notice. Where Highway 56 did open up today, we will have a pick up point in Belgrade at the bus barn at 7:15 AM if you wish to have your child picked up there. That will be our drop off point after school each day as well around 3:55 PM. For those that will now be taking and/or picking your child up from school, the doors open at 7:30 AM for breakfast with classes starting at 8 AM. School dismisses at 3:36 PM for pick-up. We are sorry for this inconvenience and we will keep you updated when we are able to provide the normal busroute again.

With everything that has happened this past week, we were unable to collect very many RSVP’s for our Title I/STEM/Title III Parent night for next Tuesday, March 19. Please do us a huge favor by filling out this form to give us an idea of how many supplies we still need to collect. You only need to fill this form out if you have a Spalding site student in grades Pre-K thru 5th or a Riverside Middle School student. Please fill the form out even if you are not planning on attending. https://goo.gl/forms/xSPhml0ixUk6lUyd2 Supplies that are needed: 2 liter pop bottles, toilet/paper towel rolls, and any type of cardboard boxes(ex-cereal, pancake, pop tart, crackers) Bring these to the Spalding Site office if you have any of these. Due to the extensive flooding and conditions of roads, Riverside Public School will NOT be having school Friday, March 15th. Please use extreme caution when traveling and stay safe Charger Nation. Our hearts go out to you and the entire state of Nebraska.
