We had our 3rd graders put on a poetry slam this afternoon! They did such a great job with both solos and duets! I think we will have some up and coming speechers in the near future! Great job to Mrs. McPhillips' class!

Here are the results from the CNTC Grand Island invite today: In the long jump- Alix got 2nd & jumped a 16'2.75. 1st place was 16'3. Jeff got 6th & Jumped a 19'8. Alix ran a 12.82 in the 100 for a 1st place! Congratulations to both of you!

Hope everyone had a wonderful extended weekend and ready to kick off an exciting week! We will start back with Steve Vandewalle‘s normal bus route tomorrow. Here’s hoping for great weather so this continues for the rest of the school year and thank you for your patience.

Congratulations to Jeff Schmeits and Alix Bloom for qualifying for this years CNTC! Jeff qualified in the long jump and Alix in long jump and the 100 meter dash.
P.S. I know the schedule says 2017, but this is the schedule they are using!

Today was a great day! Riverside was selected for the Great Plains Communication Innovative Learning Grant! Mrs. Kelley and Mrs. Rankin wrote the grant to promote STEM education!



Congratulations to Mrs. Rankin for being selected as the Great Plains Communications Outstanding Teacher of the Year! Your hard work does not go unnoticed! Thank you for all you do for Riverside!
