🗣️ Shout-out Alert🗣️
If you see these kids in the next few days please congratulate them or send them a quick message! Our Ag Bio Team were 54 points from a perfect score and blew all the other teams out of the water. They put in a lot of time to get to this point! Congratulations to them and Ms. Peterson for your hard work, especially through these weird times!

ATTENTION SENIORS (& HS Teachers)
ACT is officially scheduled to be given to the Senior Class, free of cost, at Riverside High School on September 22. This test will replace the April postponed test due to Covid Closures. There will NO LONGER be a Writing portion on the test during this test administration.
I encourage you all to continue studying, or start studying, to freshen up on the information within the test.
You will also still be able to hopefully take an additional test this upcoming winter/spring, if you desire to take it an additional time as well. This would have to be scheduled by you at Boone Central or another location that hosts the ACT on Saturdays during the National Test Dates. Here are a few new National Test Dates to be on the look out for at local test locations (photo attached):

The Nebraska Schools Activities Association has changed requirements for Pre-Participation Physical Examinations for the 20-21 academic year. Due to the overwhelming demand on the healthcare system in Nebraska, it was clear to the NSAA Sports Advisory Committee that the system as a whole would not have the capacity to meet original requirements in place by the NSAA for all athletes to have physicals administered in the normal time allotment.
As a result, all physicals for students entering grades 8, 10, 11 & 12 that were accepted during the 19-20 academic year, will remain valid for the 20-21 academic year. This is a one year exemption only and those students who are entering 7th and 9th grades will still be required to get a physical prior to their first athletic practice. Those physicals must be administered no earlier than May 1, 2020!
If you have any questions regarding this matter feel free to contact the high school office at 308-358-0640, or by emailing will.wragge@riversideps.org
There is still time to sign up for the youth football camp for July 27, 28, and 29. If you have any questions please reach out to Coach Valasek.
