What a fun evening watching our student athletes play the sports they love. Our Gatorade scrimmage was a great success and loved seeing all that summer work paying off for our students. Shout-out to our coaches for the preparation that goes into it every day. Lastly, thank you #ChargerNation for your support and attendance at both events! Nothing like a competive game of bocce and badminton to introduce students to the class Outdoor Pursuits. We also have our one-act students preping their acting skills with a little roleplaying. Their coaches gave a perfect demonstration! Great things happening at @RSChargers!

Today was the first day of Ms. Ragar's PK! There were many smiles, a few tears and some sad parents leaving their babies behind BUT the little ones did fantastic! Looking forward to seeing them all tomorrow! #RPSway #BeACharger⚡⚡

🚨 Gatorade Scrimmage Alert🚨 This Friday (8/23) our VB & FB teams will be participating in a scrimmage. The cost of entry is one sports drink per person. This will take place in Spalding starting with 🏐 at 530pm with 🏈 around 7pm! See you Friday! #RPSway #BeACharger⚡⚡

Congratulations to the newest Riverside FFA American Dregree Recipients. Caitlin Langer, Kyle Noble and Macy Zentner will be receiving their American FFA Degree at the 92nd National FFA convention this fall. The American FFA Degree is the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization, the American FFA Degree shows an FFA member’s dedication to his or her chapter and state FFA association. It demonstrates the effort FFA members apply toward their supervised agricultural experience and the outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement they exhibited through their FFA career. American FFA Degree recipients show promise for the future and have gone above and beyond to achieve excellence. Caitlin, Kyle, and Macy, we are extremely proud of all your hard work. Way to represent Riverside FFA!

Good afternoon! We are close to the beginning of the year and excited for the start of school. This year, we will have KSB law firm at our schools giving a presentation on internet safety. This presentation is mandatory for a grade 6-12 parent or guardian to be present at and to sign a permission slip for the release of a school laptop. The date is August 14th (Wednesday). Spalding will start at 10:15am and go to 11:15am. Cedar will begin at 12pm and go to 1pm. You may attend either site. If you can not make one of these times, please contact the school office. Just under one month until we charge back to school! Some reminders as you prepare: 1.) Supply lists were sent home in the June Newsletter & can also be found on our website. 2.) Kindergarteners, 7th graders, and all JH & HS sports participants need to have current physicals for the 19-20 school year. Physical forms can be found on our website, the NSAA website, or picked up at school. Forms must be turned in before the first day of practice for Fall athletics!

🅾️🅱️🅰️🆎💉 If there are any students interested helping with the next blood drive, at the Parish Center in Cedar on the 19th, could you please email Kyle Jensen at kyle.jensen@redcross.org. With volunteering, you would be awarded a 50 dollar gift card and a chance at a 1,000 scholarship. You would be asked to recruit other students, faculty, and other community members to donate to support the need. We are shooting for recruiting of ten donors for each volunteer.
